Real to Reel

After garnering accolades as the CMD of Amrapali Group — a leading Delhi-NCR based real estate company — Anil Kumar Sharma has now ventured into the creative field of film production. Produced under the banner of Amrapali Media Vision, ‘Gandhi to Hitler’ seeks to give the message of global peace, by bringing out the contrasting philosophies and personalities of Mahatma Gandhi and Adolf Hitler. The film shows how Hitler’s Nazism and violence resulted in Germany’s downfall, while Gandhi’s ideology of non-violence eventually led to India’s freedom, thus underscoring the superiority of Gandhism over Nazism. The film has been released both in English and Hindi languages. The film’s international version is entitled ‘Dear Friend Hitler’ which has got rave reviews at the international platform of Cannes Film Festival 2011.
The film, directed by Rakesh Ranjan Kumar, has Raghuvir Yadav as Adolf Hitler and Neha Dhupia as Eva Braun. While the movie’s premiere was also held at New York on July 25, its Australian premiere is slated to be held shortly.
