With an aim to attract investment from NRIs, Kerala Builders Forum (KBF) organized Kerala Property Show in Qatar, Dubai, from May 11-13. Various township development projects and designs of residential complexes of Kerala were displayed in a big way. The three-day exhibition featured projects of about 50 builders.
Sponsored by HDFC Bank and State Bank of India, the show was able to attract good investment from NRIs and buyers from the Gulf region. According to V Raveendran, Executive Director, KBF, the IT sector was a major driver for investment.
Visitors, Builders Throng Pune Property Expo
Property Showcase 2008, the property exhibition and seminar in Pune, organized by Sakaal Media Group in association with Realty Plus on May 1, turned out to be a big draw. The expo displayed a plethora of properties suitable to every budget. The focus was on promoters and builders, housing finance and property insurance companies, and home accessories ranging from tiles, paints, lighting to bathroom fittings, home interiors products and allied services providers and products.
Good response was received from visitors in respect of booking and inquiry for plots and row houses in areas including Mulshi, Panshet, Sinhagad, Chakan, Wagholi, Wakad and many more. Financial institutions participating in this exhibition customized some lucrative schemes for thos e interested in on-the-spot deal. There were consultants providing rental solutions to bachelors, students and working professionals too. The event not only attracted developers from Pune but also encouraged builders from Nagpur and Aurangabad to participate in this exhibition. Tour programmes for the investors to have a look at the real estate options at these destinations were also organized.
