TDI Fun Republic, an integrated shopping and entertainment complex in Moti Nagar, West Delhi, opened its doors to the public in the last week of December. It was formally launched by Amar Singh, general secretary of Samajwadi Party, in the presence of several Bollywood celebrities amidst a lot of fanfare including live band performance and sneak preview of a Hindi film. The project represents an effort to bring about one of the largest mixed-use developments in the heart of Bangalore.

UB City will stand tall at the corner of Vittal Mallya Road and Kasturba Road, just 600 metres away from Bangalore's commercial hub, M. G. Road. Its buildings will demonstrate how chrome, glass and green leaves can seamlessly blend between modern edifices and serene flora. When completed, the complex will house the UB Group offices under one roof, UB Tower. 'Concorde' and 'Canberra' will have retail space on the lower floors and office space in the higher levels, while 'Comet' is going to accommodate serviced apartments. The initial approval for the scheme has been received from Jaipur Development Authority. The VIC is bound to emerge as a coveted destination. Ajmer Road, an eight-lane expressway, has the main commercial centre M.I. Road just 15 minutes away. A new flyover connects the expressway to the main Jaipur city, providing a fast and uninterrupted drive.

The township will represent a mix of plots, built-up bungalows, row and group housing, as well as condominiums. A total of 10,800 dwelling units are slated to come up in this area.
