MAN Infraprojects, a subsidiary of MAN Industries India which is a part of the UK-based $1 billion MAN Group, plans to develop seven projects in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Indore with an investment of Rs 1,000 crores over the next three years. With a total built-up area of 10 million sq ft, the projects would be worth over Rs 4,000 crores after completion.
In the first phase, the company plans to work on three projects in Mumbai. The second would be in Mumbai city and one in Navi Mumbai. The first would be a commercial project called Man Mercury in Bandra, having a total office space of 24,000 sq ft -- 12 offices of 2,000 sq ft each --- with multi-level parking space in the basement.
The second project, Man Excellenza, would also be a commercial complex at Vile Parle on SV Road. The third one is going to be a mixed-use development at Navi Mumbai, called Man Valley Vista. This would include a commercial building, a 150-200 room hotel and residential building. “We are in the process of finalising a hotel operator and already talking to some five-star hotel chains including Hilton, Sheraton, Hyatt and Intercontinental,” says Kumar Mordani, director of MAN Infraprojects.
In the residential complex, there will be premium 3BHK apartments with all the club facilities and is priced at Rs 6,000 per sq ft. Going forward, the company plans to develop a mixed use project in Indore and is also concentrating on Panvel area. The group is negotiating for large parcels of land for development of integrated satellite townships.
