Baderwals group, a renowned land banker-turned-property developer, has announced its plans to launch a number of real estate projects in north India next year at a cost of about Rs 7,000 crore.s This ISO 9001: 2000 company has already launched projects worth between Rs 1,500 crores and Rs. 2,000 crore.s
According to Sushil Baderwal, CMD, Baderwals are undertaking real estate projects spanning townships, group housing, shopping malls, office spaces, hotels, IT Parks and SEZ's focusing on tier- II and tier-III cities. The company has also diversified into infrastructure development with roads, flyovers and airports projects.
Baderwals will launch an integrated township in Udaipur, having a mall and a five-star hotel, in collaboration with a local builder at a cost of Rs 650 crores-Rs.700 crores. The group, which is already doing such a project in Panipat on NH1 in a JV with Ansal API and an independent township project in Mohindergarh (Haryana), will build townships projects in Bikaner and Kaithal (Haryana) as well.
The company has also planned to develop a high-rise group housing project over 32 acres in Sonepat, besides another in Bhiwadi, where, on the commercial real estate front, it will be coming up with one of the largest mixed-use developments . In Panipat too, it is developing a mall, multiplex and a hotel. A 100-acre multiproduct SEZ and a 25-acre IT Park in Indore and a resort and airport project in Panna (Madhya Pradesh) are the other commercial projects planned.
