CERA Sanitaryware Ltd, the Ahmadabad-based bathroom solutions provider, has announced its entry into top sanitaryware segment by launching its premium designer tiles range. The company has also opened an exclusive showroom in Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar area for displaying them.
The company has tied up with designer tile manufacturers of Italy and Spain for marketing their products in the country. According to Deepak Agarwal, GM (Tiles), these firms are Rondine, Emil Ceramica and Gigacer of Italy, and Diago Ceramica and Rocerca of Spain.
CERA would market the premium tiles through its own showrooms as well as through premium designer tile dealers. Its tile collection has latest finishes like laparto, metal, stone and wood, apart from polished vitrified tiles. Similarly, besides the conventional sizes of 30x30 cm, 30x60 cm, 40x40 cm and 60x60 cm, CERA's collection has newer sizes like 20x50 cm, 47.2x70.8 cm and bigger slabs like 40x120 cm and 60x120 cm. The products are available in the price range of Rs. 100 to 1, 200 per sq. ft.
The company sells its products to realty firms, including Unitech, Jain Builders, Alpha G Corp, and Kalpataru Builders. The manufacturing plant near Ahmedabad has a capacity of 2.2 million pieces per annum.
