Charting New Horizons

CHD Developers comes up with a slew of new projects to expand its footprints across different segments of real estate. By Sujeet Kumar Jha


One of the oldest players in the real estate domain, CHD Developers has now been creating a large inventory of integrated townships, commercial complexes and retirement villages at prime locations across the country.

With its outstanding project Sri Krishnalok, located strategically on NH-2 near Vrindaban town, the company is taking rapid strides on spiritual retreat and a second home concept. Sprawling over 6.5 acres of land, this earth-quake resistant project features ready to move in 216 apartments. Offering a blend of auspicious living with choicest of amenities, such as abundance of green spaces, convenience store, club, restaurant, wi -fi connectivity, besides 100 per cent power back-up, 24x7 water supply and round the clock security. Every apartment at this project is equipped with state of the art infrastructure.

Recently, CHD Developers has also started construction of a Radha-Krishna temple within this apartment complex. The construction of this unique temple requires pure stones in place of concrete to construct the whole structure. According to the company, such constructions are known to sustain for over 300 years. It is investing about Rs2 crore for the construction of this temple with this innovative technique. "It is the first and only temple of this magnitude on the entire stretch of NH 2 en route Delhi-Mathura," claims the company.

CHD City, at Karnal is another feather in the cap of the company. En route to Chandigarh from national capital, down the NH-1, the magnificent gateway of this township stands tall extending a warm welcome to the passersby. Spread over 250 acres, this project offers residential plots, independent floors and luxurious villas.

Well equipped with all sorts of modern amenities CHD City provides amenities like shopping mall, gymnasium, multiplex, restaurants, park, creche, library, mother dairy, vegetable and milk booth, schools and more. With an intention of providing state-of-the-art infrastructure and world-class education, the company has tied up with Educomp Infrastructure and School Management Ltd to establish The Millennium School at this city. According to the company, the school which is spread over an area of 1.25 lakh sq ft will provide premium education through its unique and innovative millennium learning system.

As per the claims of the company, the customer response for CHD City has been very encouraging, hence more than 400 dwelling independent floors and 30 luxury villas are under construction at this city which is slated to be ready by the end of the current financial year.

Encompassing both present and the future requirements, CHD City has been designed to cover every need of its occupants, from creche to global high schools, nursing home to multi-specialty hospitals, gardens to central park, small-business offices to commercial hubs and more, with extra wide roads.

Avenue 71, the premium multi-storey development, strategically located on Sohna Road, Gurgaon, is the latest project offered by CHD Developers. At this project, the company is doing everything to make it energy and water efficient. Also, the project has the USP of having lavish theme gardens and rejuvenating water bodies allowing its residents to stay close to nature and relish it properly. "Our architects have maintained a balance between energy usage and electricity conservation by offering climatically appropriate design with environmentally responsive construction and naturally cross ventilated rooms at this project," informs Ravi Saund, COO, CHD Developers.

It features an open air theatre and a state-of-the-art community club which consists of luxurious facilities such as swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam & sauna, billiard's pool, card's room, reading room, sun deck, a 50 seater theatre and a multi-purpose hall, etc. Also the sports area at this project includes a tennis court, basket ball court, a squash court, skating ring and a jogging/cycling trail within the complex. And for the toddlers, there is a kid's zone and a nursery school.

Here it deserves a mention that Avenue 71 has been awarded Gold Certification by the Ministry of Environment & Forest. "We have brought in award winning international architects to do the master planning of this project.
